Sentences

A sentence is a grammatical unit consisting of one or more words that are grammatically linked.
A sentence can include words grouped meaningfully to express a statement, question, exclamation, request, command or suggestion.
For example:
The owels, They run, How?, Hi, Bring joy, Houses down the hill, I like the job.etc.

In a sentence, every verb must have a subject. If the verb expresses action—like sneeze, jump, bark, or study—the subject is who or what does the verb.

clauses

In grammar, a clauses is the smallest grammatical unit that can express a complete proposition.
A typical clause consists of a subject and a predicate.

The predicate or verb says something about the subject ( what the subject do) and the subject is who or what does the verb.
